After Massage
Questions. Answers. Others
Question:
Why does Melissa say when the massage is done that I should take my time getting up?
Answer:
This is because you have been laying down for a long period of time and you can get a dizzy feeling when you go to sit up or upon standing. Also, you don't want to tweak any muscles.
Question:
How often should I get a massage?
Answer:
Most often it is suggested once per month, but I like to look at every client's progress before making that recommendation. If you have an issue that is simple and responds really well to massage, I might have you come back one to two more times with two to three days break between visit. Then you should be done. If you are dealing with something more complex, then a consistent monthly massage might be the best recommendation for you.
Question:
Are you asking me to keep coming back again and again?
Answer:
No. I believe I can make more money if I can help fix you versus asking you to keep coming back. If I help you fix you, you are more opt to recommend friends and family. That is what I want.
Question:
I feel great after a massage, how can I make that feeling last?
Answer:
Stretches and managing one stress are the top two things I believe everyone can work on to help the good feeling they have after their massages last longer. I will show you specific stretches to help you with your specific issues, along with pressure points to help you manage your stress better.
Question:
Should I feel sore after a massage?
Answer:
Some people will feel sore, but it is like getting sore from working out. There is a good sore and a bad sore. A good sore, last about 24 hours, and lets you know we accomplished something. A bad sore lasts more like 48 hours and tells us that we were too aggressive.
Question:
If I feel a bad sore after a massage what should I do?
Answer:
Text Me. That way we can assess if I went to deep and you just did not tell me about it, maybe it was a certain message type and we need to switch, and finally some people have areas that are best left alone. I can't help fix it if I don't know about it. So please, please, please tell me if you feel bad sore after my massage.
Question:
If I hurt and can't get into seeing Melissa right away, what can I do?
Answer:
