Aroma Therapy is a form of alternative medicine that is used to treat stress and pain conditions like anxiety, depression, osteoarthritis, sinus congestion, and dementia.
A highly concentrated oil is either inhaled or directly applied to the skin. The aroma is thought to send messages though the nervous system to the brain that direct the body to relax.
If you have high stress and anxiety, you need aroma therapy in your life.
Aroma Therapy is another therapy that I thought I would never use, but is now my 5th favorite massage therapy treatment. When working at a high-end spa in D.C., aroma therapy was listed as one of their options. We would use just two drops each of lavender and peppermint aromas.
The results were amazing, especially when it came to stress and anxiety.
