Deep Tissue Massage

A "good hurt." kind of massage.

Deep Tissue Massage is a massage technique that treats musculoskeletal issues like sciatica and sports injuries as well as repetitive injuries like carpal tunnel syndrome, herniated/bulged disc, neck, upper and lower back pain, limited mobility, and muscular tension.

Deep Tissue targets the deeper layers of muscles and is applied by using a slow, deep and sustained pressure in order to help break up scar tissue and reduce muscular tension.

When I was a kid, my dad had a lot of chronic pain issues, and a deep, deep tissue massage was the only thing that would help him feel better.  Because he couldn't afford a professional massage every day, I became his at home, deep, deep tissue massage therapist.
