Let me first say, that I am not a Doctor,
and all my clients that called me this knew I was not a Doctor.
I was about 7 or 8 years into my massage therapy career, when my husband got a job opportunity in Arlington, Virginia in the DC area. I was extremely blessed to be able to work for a day spa that was ranked #1 each year I worked there. It turned out to be the best experience ever.
One of the best parts of this job was that each massage therapist had their specialty. One gal was outstanding at giving the best relaxation massage ever, another was great doing the hot stones and bamboo massage, etc. I became known for helping people treat their complex massage issues. By being able to help my clients with either aches and pains, my boss and clients started calling me the "Almost Like A Doctor" Massage Therapist. It was such a joy to be able to help people feel better and work at such a prestigious spa.
